Korea Trip 2017

zaterdag 30 december 2017

It's almost the end of the year but this year has been such a rollercoaster, full with up and downs, but a year I'll never forget. One of the highlights from 2017 was my trip to Korea and it's a must go destination! Not only for the cheap makeup but also for the food, the culture and the people because everyone is so nice there. I was there for only a week but I can't wait to go back and explore more of not only Seoul but other cities as well. Here's my short list of things to do in Seoul that made my trip awesome.

3CE Matte Lipstick REVIEW || #909 SMOKED ROSE, #803 CLASSIC ROSY, #907 OLD DRESS

zaterdag 9 december 2017

I can't get enough of lipsticks and my collections keeps growing and growing. This time I'm welcoming 3 lipsticks from 3CE, a makeup brand from the Korean brand Stylenanda. I'm already familiar with their lipsticks and also made a review about one of their lip lacquers. So if you're curious about that one click here! But the highlight for today are these gorgeous lipsticks! The colors I picked up are #909 Smoked Rose, #803 Classic Rosy and #907 Old Dress. I bought them in store when I was in Korea last summer but you can get them online on their website or Ebay.

The Yesstyle Look #1 || White Turtleneck Sweater

woensdag 6 december 2017

I'm so excited to start a new series called The Yesstyle Look. The title explains enough but for people who don't know what Yesstyle is, it's an asian online shopping mall where they sell tons of clothes, shoes and accessories! I always order here and it's either a hit or miss, so I thought it would be super helpful if I could share my experiences and pictures of the pieces I buy. I'm not sponsored by Yesstyle to do this so all the pieces I got are bought with my own money.

Hong Kong Trip 2017

donderdag 30 november 2017

I went to Hong Kong for vacation and loved it so much! The streets are always busy, the food is delicious and the view you get at night is unbelievable. Definitely worth a second trip. I stayed in an Airbnb in Mong Kok which was perfect, right next to Langham Place and subway exit. The view we got was a-ma-zing, honestly best Airbnb I stayed in. I'm still hyped writing this blogpost lol.

When you don't have much to spare then streetfood is a good option, because Hong Kong has a lot of street food and it's quite cheap! But when you want to eat a bit more lavish then I recommend a place called Ronin. It's a Japanese restaurant hidden somewhere in Soho (a district). Yes it's hidden, no joke. I seriously searched for a whole hour just to find a door or opening. It was so tiring walking around for a hour in +35 degrees celsius but so worth it! The service was so good, food was to die for, just the whole setting was incredible. Wait.. am I using too much so's? Anyway, it was definitely one of my highlights of the trip!

Fine Winter Jewelry || AURATE

Winter is coming.... I can imagine how many bloggers have used that sentence to start a blogpost but I just couldn't stop myself for using a GoT reference because it fits this blogpost so well. But winter is around the corner and I didn't want this blogpost to be your regular fall to winter outfits so to spice things up I've decided to focus on a very important factor of every look, and that is: accessories! A lot of people (including myself) tend to forget about earrings or bracelets etc. But these pieces define the outfit, it makes it put together or add a certain bling or dazzle to your look. Now that winter is around the corner, a change in jewelry is much needed. So do you go for gold or silver? Can't choose between a bracelet or necklace, or maybe both? Here's how I transition from fall to winter using fine pieces from AUrate New York.

Etude House Review || Zero Sebum Drying Powder

donderdag 13 april 2017

It's finally spring and summer is around the corner which means... allergies and an extra oily ass face. I have used blotting paper before but blotting paper doesn't do that much for me so that was a nono. Then there's the famous Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder which was amazing, honestly one of my fave products of all time. But for some reason I always end up losing my Mineral Powder (lost it 2 times already) so I decided to pick up the Etude House Zero Sebum Drying Powder. This product claims to control sebum and refines pores for a fluffy and soft skin while mattifying your face. And oh my I think I like the Etude House one more than the Innisfree.
