SHANGHAI || M50

dinsdag 18 september 2018

I have less than 2 months left in Shanghai and I'm feeling both sad and happy at the same time. Sad because I love this city so much and would love to stay longer, but also happy because I'm going to see my family, boyfriend and friends soon! Of course I'm still trying to explore the cool and hot spots of Shanghai in my free time and make the most of it. In this blog I'll show you around M50 which is a famous art district in Shanghai.

M50 is Shanghais own art district and its short for 50 Moganshan Road. The closest subway station is  Jiangning Road and it's a 10-15 min walk from exit 1. It's home to a lot of galleries and most of them are free of charge. Not only does it satisfy your artsy needs but it also boosts up your instagram. It's perfect for snapping some shots and you'll casually see some photoshoots going on at the location. If you're a lover of both art and photography then this is definitely a must go for you! *Keep in mind that all galleries close at 5pm

Here are some of the shots I took while I was there. If you have visited m50 let me know in the comment section below what your thoughts are about Shanghais art district :)

Korea Trip 2017

zaterdag 30 december 2017

It's almost the end of the year but this year has been such a rollercoaster, full with up and downs, but a year I'll never forget. One of the highlights from 2017 was my trip to Korea and it's a must go destination! Not only for the cheap makeup but also for the food, the culture and the people because everyone is so nice there. I was there for only a week but I can't wait to go back and explore more of not only Seoul but other cities as well. Here's my short list of things to do in Seoul that made my trip awesome.

Hong Kong Trip 2017

donderdag 30 november 2017

I went to Hong Kong for vacation and loved it so much! The streets are always busy, the food is delicious and the view you get at night is unbelievable. Definitely worth a second trip. I stayed in an Airbnb in Mong Kok which was perfect, right next to Langham Place and subway exit. The view we got was a-ma-zing, honestly best Airbnb I stayed in. I'm still hyped writing this blogpost lol.

When you don't have much to spare then streetfood is a good option, because Hong Kong has a lot of street food and it's quite cheap! But when you want to eat a bit more lavish then I recommend a place called Ronin. It's a Japanese restaurant hidden somewhere in Soho (a district). Yes it's hidden, no joke. I seriously searched for a whole hour just to find a door or opening. It was so tiring walking around for a hour in +35 degrees celsius but so worth it! The service was so good, food was to die for, just the whole setting was incredible. Wait.. am I using too much so's? Anyway, it was definitely one of my highlights of the trip!

Happy New Year | 2016 Resolutions

vrijdag 1 januari 2016

Happy new year!!!! 2016 is officially here and I feel better than ever. Sounds silly but I feel more determined to achieve my goals this year than any previous years. But we'll see if this year will be different. One thing I know for sure is that 2016 is gonna be awesome :).

My Vietnam summer 2015 trip.

dinsdag 18 augustus 2015

Super tired and super jetlagged while writing this blogpost right now, but I wanted to let you guys know that I'm back from my vacay! I've enjoyed my 4 weeks stay in Vietnam, especially in Nha Trang and Saigon. Saigon has seriously changed so much since my last visit there (six years ago) and I love it so much. It's filled with super cute and cozy coffeeshops now where you can chill with your friends. If you ever have the chance to visit Saigon (HCMC) go check out this place called: Oromia Coffee & Lounge in District 3. Their toast and drinks are the bomb.

Getting tatted and OOTD.

Hi lovelys!

It's been a while, I was really busy with work and school. So sorry guys for the lack of blogposts. I did ordered a few Korean beauty products last month which I have all received. So there will be a product review up soon! I'm also planning on filming a short Korean beauty haul, but i'm not sure when I have the time to do that.

But..... I am filming a "How I Style" video, yes! In this video I will show you guys how I style an oversized white denim jacket. Yesterday I filmed the first outfit for this video and there will be an total of 3 outfits so please do look forward to that :) Earlier that day I got my second tattoo, yup. I don't have any pictures yet but the design I was going for was a pair of wings and in the middle a cross. I will do another post dedicated to my tattoo, explaining the meaning, pain, place etc.

This is a short post but I just wanted to update my readers.

Love, Diana.

MØ live in Amsterdam!

donderdag 9 april 2015

Hi everyone! This blogpost will not be related to beauty or fashion but will be about the talented MØ. For the people who don't know her, she is an artist from Denmark and makes electropop. She is definitely worth your time, so check her out! A few favorites of mine are: Walk This Way (the Lido remix) and Say You'll Be There.

I actually discovered her through the Lido Remix, but it wasn't until recently that I really got into her. A friend of mine asked me to join him to this MØ concert in Amsterdam. I was kind of debating wether I should go or not, because at that moment I only knew the Walk This Way remix so I was kind of hmm. But I decided to go anyway. So after that I actually searched her up on Spotify and listened to all her songs.

After knowing her songs and liking them so much I was pretty excited for her concert. And oh guuurl it was so much fun. She has such a great stage presence and good interactions with the crowd. She even walked through the crowd and I was literally 1 meter away from her *gasp*. Unfortunately I could't take any decent pictures of her :(. She also doesn't has a lot of songs yet so the concert lasted for an hour, but I enjoyed every second of it. Big thank you to Steven for asking me to join you <3

Hope you check out this great artist!
Loves, Diana.
