OOTD #9 || Appreciating art

donderdag 20 september 2018

I always try to dress a bit more artsy and casual when I go to an art exhibition. Not only do I enjoy looking at art but I know that most art places have a great vibe and look to them. So I always try to snap a few pics when I'm there. In this case I visited M50 in Shanghai. If you ever get the chance to visit then it's a must! I recently wrote a blogpost about M50 so if you're interested then click here!

SHANGHAI || M50

dinsdag 18 september 2018

I have less than 2 months left in Shanghai and I'm feeling both sad and happy at the same time. Sad because I love this city so much and would love to stay longer, but also happy because I'm going to see my family, boyfriend and friends soon! Of course I'm still trying to explore the cool and hot spots of Shanghai in my free time and make the most of it. In this blog I'll show you around M50 which is a famous art district in Shanghai.

M50 is Shanghais own art district and its short for 50 Moganshan Road. The closest subway station is  Jiangning Road and it's a 10-15 min walk from exit 1. It's home to a lot of galleries and most of them are free of charge. Not only does it satisfy your artsy needs but it also boosts up your instagram. It's perfect for snapping some shots and you'll casually see some photoshoots going on at the location. If you're a lover of both art and photography then this is definitely a must go for you! *Keep in mind that all galleries close at 5pm

Here are some of the shots I took while I was there. If you have visited m50 let me know in the comment section below what your thoughts are about Shanghais art district :)

7828KM away || HELLO FROM SHANGHAI

maandag 9 juli 2018

Hi everyone! I'm almost 23, in my last chapter of university and all this not back at home but in Shanghai! Yup that's right, I'm currently in Shanghai to work on my thesis. I can't say much but it's for a company based here. What I can say tho is that I absolutely love it, more than any other city i've ever been to. That's why I want to share all the cool places and hotspots you should visit when you ever get the chance.

Here's a sneak preview of what I've been up to the past few months ;)

Korea Trip 2017

zaterdag 30 december 2017

It's almost the end of the year but this year has been such a rollercoaster, full with up and downs, but a year I'll never forget. One of the highlights from 2017 was my trip to Korea and it's a must go destination! Not only for the cheap makeup but also for the food, the culture and the people because everyone is so nice there. I was there for only a week but I can't wait to go back and explore more of not only Seoul but other cities as well. Here's my short list of things to do in Seoul that made my trip awesome.

Hong Kong Trip 2017

donderdag 30 november 2017

I went to Hong Kong for vacation and loved it so much! The streets are always busy, the food is delicious and the view you get at night is unbelievable. Definitely worth a second trip. I stayed in an Airbnb in Mong Kok which was perfect, right next to Langham Place and subway exit. The view we got was a-ma-zing, honestly best Airbnb I stayed in. I'm still hyped writing this blogpost lol.

When you don't have much to spare then streetfood is a good option, because Hong Kong has a lot of street food and it's quite cheap! But when you want to eat a bit more lavish then I recommend a place called Ronin. It's a Japanese restaurant hidden somewhere in Soho (a district). Yes it's hidden, no joke. I seriously searched for a whole hour just to find a door or opening. It was so tiring walking around for a hour in +35 degrees celsius but so worth it! The service was so good, food was to die for, just the whole setting was incredible. Wait.. am I using too much so's? Anyway, it was definitely one of my highlights of the trip!
