COSRX Cica-7 Solution || Cica Pad & Cica Cream Intense
vrijdag 8 april 2022
Oh god, it has been a very long time! With my life being on pause, my blog and skincare addiction had to be on pause as well, but I'm back with some reviews! On todays read we have products from the COSRX Cica-7 solution line. You guys know me, I loveeee COSRX. Their snail line has to be one of my favorites! If you are interested, click here for the read and my review.
The COSRX Cica-7 solution line focusses on outbreaks and acne prone skin. With their main ingredient being centella, which will help greatly with inflammation. The Cica Pad is a Multi-functional toner & sheet masking pad designed for those looking for toner pads that function as both a toner pad and sheet mask. A cool thing is that this product has the highest content of CICA in the whole line making it a great concentration product for your face. The Cica Cream Intense is a moisturizing cream that soothes the sensitive skin at the same time. It has 7 types of centella extract and offers intense moisture due to the 1,000 ppm of Centella Asiatica Oil + Panthenol + Allantoin, which makes this cream live up to its name.
Ingredients list
The Cica Pad
Centella Asiatica Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Root Extract, which are the high-molecular cica ingredients, but it also consists low-molecular cica like asiaticoside, asiatic acid, madecassic acid, madecassoside.
Mentha Aquatica Extract, Water Mint Extract in other words will cool your skin caused by any sensitivity. "In depth analysis indicates that this cooling pad reduces the skin temperature by 7.3% after use." from the official COSRX website.

The Cica Cream Intense
"The protective barrier made from 1,000 ppm of Centella Asiatica Oil + Panthenol + Allantoin protects moisture and keeps skin hydrated for a long time." quoted from the official COSRX website

Look and feel
The design of the product is simple, easy to use and fits the theme of offering cooling effects on the face. What I extremely like about the design is that the key ingredients are right in the front, so we can immediately see the centella ingredients. Incorporating the color green as well, there's simply nothing I want to change about the design.

Before I go in with the final verdict, I just want to take a moment appreciating how thin the sheets are from the Cica Pad! Each sheet is packed with product as well and the amount of sheets seems endless. It comes with a clip and lid to keep the bacteries out, making it easier to get out the sheets, since they are clumped together.
I personally liked using this as an essence kind of product rather than a toner, so I used it after toner, before moisturizer. I liked to use 2-3 sheets for my face, covering both my cheeks and my forehead. Obviously there will be some spots that are not covered, you can use more to make it into a sheetmask or you can use it only on your problem areas. After leaving it in, I like to rub the excess product into my skin and move on to the moisturizer. I really like how cooling this product is! It feels super relaxing and after leaving it on my face there's still product left to rub into the rest of the skin.
The cream is perfect for the colder days since it helped a lot with keeping my skin moisturized, it calms my skin and gets rid of the redness as well. I like how the texture is not too thick, so its easy to work with fast absorption. It has a very faint smell that goes away quickly, but even if it lingered, it wouldnt bother me at all.
COSRX Advanced Snail 96 || All in one Cream & Mucin Power Essence
zondag 3 november 2019
This takes me back to my childhood.. I don't think I'm the only one, but I used to play with snails when I was younger. I grabbed them, let them walk on my hands and touched their eyes, because I thought it was funny. Now thinking back, it must have hurt so much for the snails, I mean, if I were to suddenly poke my own eye, wouldn't I flinch? Snails and slugs especially grosses me out now, so I've never imagined for it to be a beauty ingredient.
I have two COSRX products right here, the Advanced Snail 96 All in one Cream and the Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence. This line claims to provide intense hydration, repair skin damage and add radiance to the skin, all without feeling sticky, quite the opposite of what you imagine for a snail containing product. I will test the cream separately and then together with the essence for the best results.

Look and feel
First starting off with the packaging. It has a simple look to it mainly using black, white and yellow. The cream comes in a jar, while the essence comes in a pump container. Personally, It would have been better if the cream also came in a pump container, because of the consistency. It's a liquid consistency that's sticky, so getting product out of the jar can be quite messy. For the essence I expected it to be more watery, but it feels more like a serum than an essence. Both products sinks into the skin pretty smooth and quick. There is a sticky feeling at first, but both products sink into the skin pretty smooth and quick so there's no sticky feeling afterwards.

I'm impressed guys, I love them both so much separately and even better together. When you use them together they compliment each other, resulting in a healthy hydrating glow. The cream by itself is moisturizing enough, but I like the extra moisture it gives with the essence combined. After using it for a while I've noticed that my skin was glowing and looking more healthier than ever and it shows on my face every morning. The essence takes a bit more time to sink into my skin, but overall they both absorb pretty well. You don't need much for the whole face, so a little goes a long way. This is for me the perfect combo for the fall season, achieving that healthy glow with enough moisture.

Son & Park Beauty Water Review
maandag 11 januari 2016
After years of using the Etude House Wonder Pore Toner I'm trying out another product. It's the popular Beauty Water from Son & Park. This toner is currently popular in Korea and even famous youtubers love it! For example Jenn Im from Clothesencounters talked about this product in one of her videos. (Who also love her as much as I do??) I decided to grab this one since my Etude House toner was running out.
